"Tanzania's Leading Hotel" Award for Kilimanjaro Hotel Kempinski
The Hotel has been awarded the prestigious "Tanzania's Leading Hotel - 2008" award by World Travel Awards at a ceremony held at Durban, South Africa in conjunction with Indaba.
Hailed as "The Oscar of the Travel Industry", by the Wall Street Journal, WTA is the travel industry's most prestigious and comprehensive awards program.
The hotel has been chosen for this award through independent voting by more than 167,000 travel professional across the world. The award represents the hotel's success and achievement in the region of Tanzania, providing excellent quality services to its discerning guest.
“Corporate Hotel of the Year” Award for Kilimanjaro Hotel Kempinski
Kilimanjaro Hotel Kempinski has been awarded the prestigious “Corporate Hotel of the Year – 2008” award.
The award was presented by TASOTA (Tanzania Society of Travel Agents) during TASOTA awards night, held at Dar-es-Salaam on May16, 2008.
The hotel has been chosen for this award through independent voting by member travel agents of TASOTA. The Hotel was recognized for providing much appreciated Value-Added Services to its Corporate guests. Among a few such services noted were Free Wireless Internet access, Quality of Food and Beverage served and Choice of international cuisine offered. The hotel ranked highest in its providing outstanding “Value for Money” to its guests.
Officiated by the Minister of Tourism and Natural Resources Ms. Shamsa Mwangunga, the award was received by Ms. Lena Kasfiki, the General Manager of Kilimanjaro Hotel and Area Director of Kempinski Hotels Tanzania.
